With a background in business, sales, and marketing, I had the foundation to build a thriving elopement photography brand, host epic content days, and help fellow photographers elevate their craft—all while keeping up with real life.

I’ve always believed that running a creative business shouldn’t mean sacrificing your sanity, your time, or your love for what you do.

Hey, I’m Rylee—elopement photographer, educator, and your biggest advocate for building a business (and life) that actually works for you.

I didn’t start out as an expert. In fact, I’m completely self-taught—from camera basics to editing, from booking dream clients to crafting a seamless workflow.

I became an elopement photographer not just because I love taking photos (which I do), but because I love serving people—giving couples an experience they’ll never forget and creating images that let them relive that feeling forever.

Through styled shoots, I built a portfolio that attracted my dream clients. I created a brand that felt like me—with colors, fonts, and a website flow that spoke directly to my couples. I developed resources that made them feel fully supported—without me physically holding their hand every step of the way. Instead, I designed plug-and-play, automated systems that allowed me to work smarter, not harder, while my couples felt like, holy shit, this girl’s got me.

And guess what? It worked.

I discovered a portfolio, brand, and workflow that gave me real work-life balance.

(Okay, let’s be real—it still gets messy, but at least now it’s intentional.)
But something’s missing.

The Road to Basecamp

  • How do I actually build a brand that stands out?
  • How do I attract my dream clients?
  • How do I create a workflow that doesn’t leave me drowning in emails?
Time and time again, I heard the same struggles:

Photographers were investing in education that barely scratched the surface—regurgitated, recycled advice from people who weren’t even successful in their own elopement businesses. That never sat right with me.

So, I created Basecamp Creative as a real resource hub—where every single tool, guide, and workflow is something I use in my own business and know works when put into action.

I never wanted to stop serving couples - but through hosting workshops, content days, & retreats, I also fell in love with helping fellow photographers.

The truth is..

Helping you craft a brand, workflow, and client experience that lets you book dream clients without the burnout.
